Nelly Afuubi, is celebrated by the Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) Diversity Committee celebrating Black graduate student parents and their contributions to campus and community life. Nelly is a student in the Master of Regenerative Sustainability program and mother of two daughters, whose experiences inform her commitment to environmental responsibility, student leadership, and community service.
