Holiday Hangout 2025

The GSA, ISSAC, and SWC Holiday Hangout is an annual winter-break event hosted by the University of Saskatchewan Graduate Students’ Association to support graduate students who stay in Saskatoon during the holidays. It offers free food, snacks, and a friendly place to connect with others, helping reduce isolation during the break. The event is organized in collaboration with ISSAC and Student Health & Wellbeing, who assist with planning, registration, promotion, and additional funding. Together, they create a warm, inclusive space for students to gather, relax, and feel supported during the holiday season.

Join us for this year’s GSA Holiday Hangout, a warm and welcoming space for graduate students and families who will be in Saskatoon during the winter break. The event will take place on December 29 and 30 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day.

Both days will include lunch, dinner, and snacks, along with a full range of activities such as movies, board games, card games, face painting, and many more ways to connect with others. Whether you want company, fun activities, or simply a comfortable place to spend the day, this gathering is here for you.

The event is kid-friendly, and families are encouraged to attend.
