Nominations for GSA Awards 2025 are open until January 31, 2025.

Black History Month: Panafrica Students Association (PASA)/UBUNTU
We are pleased to announce the celebration of Black History Month in February. The scheduled events include Leadership Panel on Feb. 5, Taste of Africa on Feb. 13, and a Gala on February 22. All members of the Black Caucus, along with other interested individuals, are encouraged to participate in this significant event.
Additionally, the UBUNTU event will take place on February 12, 2025, at the Neatby-Timlin Theatre (ARTS 241) at the University of Saskatchewan. Ticket sales close on February 5 and the event is open to everyone. Tickets available on EventBrite.
24-hour/7-days Mental Health Support for Graduate Students
The GSA encourages all graduate students to take care of their mental health. A graduate student can contact the GSA's 24-hour/7-day mental health support service, "Empower Me" covered under its Health and Dental Plan.
Dental Care Services at USask's College of Dentistry
The College of Dentistry Dental Education Clinic at the University of Saskatchewan offers dental care service packages to graduate students and their families at discounted rates. The Dental Clinic will provide documents that students will be able to submit to the insurance company for reimbursement. Clinical hours during the academic year: Monday to Friday, 9:00–11:30 am and 1:30–4:30 pm. Please visit dental education clinic for more information about services and fees.
GSA Commons Offer
GSA Commons is located in the Emmanuel & St. Chad Chapel at 1337 College Drive. GSA Commons offers a warm study environment with available computers for public use and free coffee and tea. If you have questions/concerns, please contact any of the GSA Executives via email:
